From 1998 until 2008, once each year, I escorted a limited number of guests on an exclusive small group tour of Scotland that I called 'Romancing the Highlands'. It was my premium quality tour and offered a unique vacation experience.

From warm welcomes in the highest village in Scotland's Highlands, to luxury accommodations in Old World Edinburgh, we discovered Scotland as few ever have...

We dined with the Laird of Ballindalloch in Ballindalloch Castle and sang along with the locals at a Highland Ceilidh.

We rode in the Scottish Highlands, tried fishing in Scotland's famous salmon rivers, and experienced golfing in Scotland, every avid golfer's dream. And of course we saw all the sites too!

For those who couldn’t join us for my 'Romancing' tour we still enjoyed a fantastic Highland vacation experience on one of my other tours! We visited Orkney, Skye and the Edinburgh Tattoo.

As always in life, things change and over the years I discovered that people preferred “Private Tours”, so in 2008, due to so much demand I started doing only private tours. My schedule has been full and we have discovered so much more.

I miss my trip so much already. When we get back in the grind it is really something. One thing I definitely took away from the trip was the difference in lifestyle and the desire to really stop and smell the roses, appreciate family and just SLOW down a little....makes me want to move to Scotland too!!
